USE THIS METHOD AT YOUR OWN RISK! I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU FRY YOUR SHIT.

This is the 2nd method (and most recent) involves simply buying the Saab Radio Telephone Wiring Harness (pn 4811329) and putting a switch across 2 wires, and a 3.5mm jack on 2 other wires, and it's done! THAT SIMPLE! However, the volume level at it's max is less than the max volume level via method 1...I call it a trade off. I don't think the difference is that bad, but personally, since I've already done method 1 and since I prefer louder music, I'm leaving my setup as is. For those of you who are scared of soldering to their radio and want a more "less-permanent" aux-input hack, I suggest this method.

Method 2

Also, check out David's site where he did this same mod and took more pictures and lots of more information.

New!
I highly recommend Carl Levine's AudioTroll 9400/9600!
He's designed a module that seamlessly integrates an ipod with your saab head unit...AWESOME. If I refer 10 people to him who buy one, he'll send me one for free, so if you do get one, please let him know I sent you there :)
